Meet Our Horses

Each horse in the Spokane Mounted Patrol has a unique story and plays a vital role in enhancing community safety. From their breeds to their backgrounds, these magnificent animals are more than just patrol partners—they are community ambassadors.

The Heart of Our Patrol

Our horses are trained to engage with the public, providing a calming presence at events and gatherings. They help foster trust and communication between law enforcement and the community, making Spokane a safer place for everyone.

Meet Our Patrol Horses

At Spokane Mounted Patrol, our horses are more than just companions; they are vital members of our community safety team. Each breed brings unique characteristics that enhance our patrol efforts and foster connections with the public.
From the spirited Arabian to the sturdy Quarter Horse, our diverse equine team is carefully selected for their temperament, strength, and suitability for patrol work. These horses are trained to navigate urban environments, ensuring they remain calm and approachable during community interactions.

Arabian Horses

Known for their endurance and intelligence, Arabians are a favorite among our patrol. Their gentle nature and strong bond with riders make them ideal for engaging with the community while maintaining a watchful eye on safety.
